Oh dear. It’s not like the Beeb to make a mistake with their microsites. But as The Media Blog reported over the weekend, someone in the BBC web design department doesn’t like Facebook.
The page was only a placeholder while the new Olympics microsite was completed, but the saddo label is hardly going to encourage people to engage with the BBC on Facebook.
It’d be far better to word it like this:

That’s much friendlier!
