A group of disgruntled Facebook users aimed to cap off Mark Zuckerberg’s terrible month, by declaring May 31st “Quit Facebook Day”.
Facebook, and its founder Mark Zuckerberg, have come under fire from users and the media alike in the past few weeks, as Facebook’s privacy policy has been scrutinised.
Courting popular opinion, Matthew Milan and Joseph Dee set up Quit Facebook Day, in an attempt to force Facebook to adopt a more transparent and fair privacy policy.
However, they failed to make a dent in Facebook’s 450 million strong userbase, with only 33,000 people quitting.
Somehow we don’t think that’s got Mark Zuckerberg shaking in his boots.
